BACK TO SCHOOL PROJECT
Community of Hope and Development, this non profit organization,
helping children in need, chooses to see the child as a messenger
of the powerful challenges facing children and families today
in the community of Philadelphia area and around the world.
Because we believe that education is the key to break the
poverty cycle and allow reaching self-sufficiency; we developed
a program called Back To School 2008 for
the Philadelphia area where we will help children in need
of all ages have books, bags and school supplies so they
can be prepared in the classroom. You can help us by sponsoring
a child with a back pack full of supplies.
Once you contact us you will be paired with the number
of children you request, and will receive a list of suggested
supplies.Volunteers must be able to provide filled
backpacks by August 15, 2008. You can drop them
or we can arrange to have them picked up.
